Bookcases have so much potential to create an incredible focal point in your living room. I’ve always believed their diverse nature allows them to display much more than your cookbooks and novels and are the perfect platform for your travel keepsakes and ornaments. 

If you’re going to fill your shelves to the brink with books then get organising! One of my close friends has made her bookcase look incredible by colour co-ordinating all of the books, then arranging them by size to create an ultra organised and stylish appearance!

Keep clutter off your shelves and only keep items that are part of your arrangement, even if this means opting for a minimalist look. If you are a clutter bug then I would recommend a bookcase with drawers to ensure everything stays looking prim, proper and ‘Book-tastic’.
